Winter Pieces You Can’t Do Without

Winter essentials
This season is all about trying to stay warm….stylishly of course!! Trap the heat with these layering pieces that every woman should own.
Skinny jeans for everyone! Stick with a darker color, like blue or black in order to create an assortment of options. Pair with boots for daily errands, and switch to ballet flats for lunch with a group of friends. For a night out, throw on your best pair of pointy-toe heels with a tunic or drapey top. Skinny jeans are essential because you can create a variety of looks, from comfy/casual to dressed to impress.
Tissue Tees in mix of colors are perfect for layering. These will stay in your closet year round so be sure to invest in good material. I would suggest having white, black, neutral, and gray in both long and short sleeve.
A chambray button down and a tissue tee are the perfect duo. Go for the denim on denim look with your skinny jeans and complete with a pair of ballet flats.
The classic cardigan – another year round piece. Go for one in a neutral color to expand your options.
Bring back your high school days with a varsity jacket. I love this look! For a masculine feel with a classy twist, take your best skinny jeans, a tissue tee, and throw your varsity jacket on to complete the look.
Need a sophisticated look for work? Snag a bright-colored blazer and pair with some neutrals to make a statement that is appropriate for just about any environment.
For those special occasions be sure to have a sleeveless shirt dress in your closet. Try a neutral color with your bright-colored blazer for an edgy, but tasteful look.
Sick of pants?? Go for a sweater dress for those not-so-cold days.
Winter would not be the same without a pair of knee-high boots. You can wear these with just about everything, from your skinny jeans to your sweater dress, DO NOT get through winter without a pair!
One of the most important accessories a woman can own is a skinny belt. Throw on with your chambray button down to show off your curves, but remember to put it around your natural waistline to get a flattering look. Bring some life to winter with a variety of colors.
Last, but definitely not least is a scarf…or 10! These are another one of those pieces that can go with any look. Get a mix of scarves in a bold color, neutral color, leopard print, and patterned to get through winter. Remember, depending on the material, some scarves can be taken into spring!
