For these cold Spring days…

for cold spring days

Colorado cannot seem to make up its mind if it is ready for Spring or not, but have no fear! There is no need to unpack your Winter wardrobe for these cold Spring days. Use these Spring pieces for layering to endure the cold…fashionably of course!

1. Denim shirt

2. Scarves

3. Turtleneck

4. Army jacket

5. Blazer (get colorful!!)

6. Varsity jacket

7. Cardigan (again…get colorful!!!)

8. Cable knit sweaters

Patchwork Punk

I love this patchwork trend seen in 5280 this month!  In this photo they styled the patchwork jeans with a masculine feel which can be the look you desire too!  The look was nicely achieved with the leather embellishment on the jacket as well as the Oxford and flats, all which can weigh in as more masculine.  I would style patchwork jeans with more of a feminine feel personally.

Using the same theme in the 5280 pic of the button down shirt I would use a floral version as my “girlie go to”.

I would also tie the look together with the feminine feel by adding pearls and bold color heels.

Will you be rocking the patchwork trend this spring and if so will you lean towards a masculine or feminine feel?
